After your initial exercise therapy consultation and examination, along with a soothing massage, we've designed a personalised plan tailored to your needs. You've been introduced to functional exercises, which you can practice as your "homework." But what comes next in this exciting process? 
 
In each of the following appointments, we'll focus on progressing your exercises to build strength and enhance your range of movement based on your unique requirements. We'll also assess your form, using tools like video analysis to examine your running technique, and offer guidance on correcting any flaws we identify. 

The benefits of progressive exercise 

Let's address a common misconception surrounding strength and conditioning exercises. Some may perceive them as monotonous, repetitive tasks that consume excessive amounts of time. However, when properly progressed, these exercises can be engaging, mentally stimulating, and physically beneficial, regardless of your goal. To alleviate concerns about time commitment, we'll only assign a few exercises for you to perform, typically once a day with a manageable number of repetitions. You might even earn the occasional day off for good behaviour!
