About Me
Growing up, I was heavily involved in sport and experienced my fair share of injuries. Playing hockey at a high level gave me a firsthand understanding of the importance of injury prevention and rehabilitation, which led me to study Sports Therapy at the University of Worcester, graduating with honours in 2019.
Since then, I have worked across hockey, football and rugby, gaining valuable
experience supporting athletes through injury and recovery. I have also worked in a variety of different fields, such as on the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme as a Health and Wellbeing Coach, and within a chiropractic clinic delivering soft tissue therapies, strength and conditioning and injury rehabilitation.
During my time in the chiro clinic, I worked with a diverse range of spinal conditions, from acute mechanical injuries and chronic pain to more complex neural presentations. Managing these cases deepened my interest in spinal rehabilitation and highlighted the importance of careful assessment, clinical reasoning and individualised treatment, experience of which I first developed during my degree. Seeing the impact that effective rehabilitation can have on restoring movement and improving quality of life led me to develop this as an area of professional focus.
These roles broadened my perspective beyond sport, reinforcing the value of
treating the whole person by using movement, rehabilitation and education to
improve their overall function and quality of life.
