If you've ever crossed paths with us, you'll know we're chatterboxes by nature! Engaging with our clients, getting to know them, and creating a friendly atmosphere is all part of the magic we offer here at Fire & Earth.

However, we’re also pretty good at being quiet and letting our clients relax and take the time to just ‘be’. Not everyone wants to chat, and that’s absolutely fine.

Sports massage doesn’t mean you can’t relax

Sports massage has a bit of a reputation for being a bit tougher on the body than a normal massage. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t also relax during it.

Although our primary focus is sports massage, not all of our clients are necessarily athletes. We often support individuals experiencing aches, pains, and injuries, even if they haven't been engaged in rigorous physical activity.

Many of our clients find solace in receiving a deep tissue treatment from our skilled sports massage therapists. Whether you're looking to unwind after a taxing day or week at work spent in front of a computer, seeking respite from a hectic schedule, or simply seeking relief from persistent discomfort, we're here to help.

So, is it okay to be quiet during my massage?

During your massage session, you'll find that our therapists are adept at the art of communication – both verbal and non-verbal. While some clients may prefer to engage in conversation, others may choose to embrace the silence and immerse themselves in the experience.

Whichever path you choose, rest assured that your comfort and well-being are our top priorities, and we’re equally as happy chatting away to you as we are just keeping quiet. You’re welcome to let your therapist know your preference at the start of the session!

Why might we need to talk to you during your massage?

Should you opt for a more tranquil session, our communication will primarily revolve around ensuring your comfort and understanding. We'll inform you about our procedures and ask about your preferences regarding focus areas and pressure levels. Occasionally, we may need to adjust your positioning to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment or alleviate any discomfort you may be experiencing.

Rest assured, these interactions are essential for delivering the highest quality care, and once addressed, we'll allow you to relax in peace.
