I am a qualified Sports Rehabilitator having completed my BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation degree at the University of Bolton. I was fortunate enough to work within professional Ice Hockey straight from University and it was here I found a passion for exercise rehabilitation. This pushed me to complete my MSc Strength and Conditioning degree at the University of Coventry. During this degree, I was working with Coventry Blaze IHC as well as first aid cover for GB Ice Hockey during their warm-up games ahead of the 2018 & 2021 world championship.
I’ve had vast experience in Football, Rugby union and Ice hockey as well as in private MSK clinics which allows me to bring my knowledge to deliver excellent patient care alongside the Fire and Earth principles.
I am currently appearing as a guest lecture for sports therapy students for Leeds Trinity University. This is an exciting opportunity to share my experiences with new therapists and give them a practical application for the theory they learn in the courses.
Since a young age, I have been interested in sport having played for the England & Great Britain Handball team and represented my county in Rugby as a teenager. Personally, I love to stay active whether that be training in the gym, long walks at the weekend, or playing rugby.
Using exercise rehabilitation alongside hands-on soft tissue treatment and Acupuncture, I strive to get my patients back to full pain-free function as soon as possible in a safe and effective way. If you have a sports injury or simply looking to fix those postural problems please get in touch.
